Originally from Defiance, Ohio, Stephanie Costa came to Columbus for medical school at OSU in 1990. She then completed her residency in OB/Gyn at OSU and has enjoyed private practice since 1998. She is a partner at Kingsdale Gynecologic Associates, a Division of MaternOhio Clinical Associates. She currently serves as the chair of the Department of Ob/Gyn at Riverside Methodist Hospital, is active in the US Women’s Health Alliance, and participates on a risk management committee for Ascent Management Services. She is an ICF certified executive/leadership coach and employs The Art of Hosting and Transformative Scenario Process at leadership retreats.Stephanie enjoys travel, reading, cooking, and outdoor pursuits. She resides in Upper Arlington with her sons Andrew and Ethan, both students at Ohio State University. Over the last few years, she has found much joy in supporting and being supported by her good friends, as well as facilitating growth and wellness in colleagues.While Stephanie continues to gain further insight into the role of a leader, she feels to be an effective leader you must possess an open and alert mind, an empathetic heart, and strong spirit.
